About Me

The Wandering Chicken: I typically reside in Cleveland, Ohio- home to... well a lot of homeless & unemployed. But I’m heading to Ankara, Turkey. And if your next question is about the weather, because everyone’s is: Well... I’m trading one crappy climate zone for another... This won’t be a tropical climate vacation like some of those lucky bastards who end up at an amazing embassy vacationing on sandy beaches. Why Turkey? What does it have to do with me? Well, short answer is that’s where I'll be working for a few months. But a background about my studies might further explain my travels overseas: I’m currently pursuing a degree at Cleveland State University in the Masters of Arts in Global Interactions program, or MAGI, as we call ourselves. It is a study of international relations theory but more application based with the focus on political and economic changes to an increasingly globalized world. My concentration within this program is the global political interactions tract. This is ultimately preparing me for, well, more school? Theoretically, I could answer that question, but I try to hold loosely to my life plans and see what’s in store!
